Recipe for Hazelnut Oatmeal Bars - instadessert



Ingredients:

2 cups old fashioned oats
1 large organic egg
½ large banana, diced
1-cup whole-wheat flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1½ cups unsweetened almond milk
2 tbsp. peanut butter
2½ cups unsweetened applesauce
3 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tsp. cinnamon
¼ tsp. kosher salt
Hazelnut spread

Directions:


To begin, preheat your oven to 375 degrees F, and then lightly spray a square pan with cooking spray.
Mix together the oats, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
In another bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, applesauce, vanilla, peanut butter, and honey.
Combine the mixtures of both bowls, and then stir in the diced bananas.
Carefully pour the batter into pan, and then place in the oven to bake for 30-35 minutes.
Set aside to cool for 15-20 minutes, and then top with hazelnut spread.
