Ingredients
Base
1 cup almonds
14 dates
1 scoop @shapehealth protein superfood (can omit - if not using, you will not need to add water)
1 tbsp cacao powder
3 tbsp water
Filling
1 can coconut cream
8 dates
1 tsp cacao powder
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 pinch salt
1 tsp vanilla
Topping
3 tbsp melted coconut oil
3 tbsp cacao powder
3 tbsp rice malt syrup (or sweetener)
Directions
Blend all base ingredients in a food processor. Slowly add water 1 tbsp at a time until it starts to stick together. Press into base of pan.
Heat filling ingredients in a saucepan over a medium heat until smooth (may take up to 20 mins). Pour over base and put in freezer for 1 hr.
Combine topping ingredients in a bowl and pour over the top. Allow to set for 3 hours in freezer before cutting. Store in freezer and remove 5-10 mins before serving. Makes 12 slices.
