Ingredients
1 ¼ cup rolled oats
1 cup all-purpose flour
3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ cup white sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup margarine
½ tsp cinnamon
½ salt
Directions
To begin, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F, then spray cookie sheets with vegetable oil.
In a medium sized bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon.
In a separate large bowl, mix together the brown and white sugar, margarine; whisk in the egg and vanilla.
Add the flour mixture to the margarine mix, and then mix in the oats.
Scoop a spoonful onto the baking sheets. Leave enough space between each cookie so they don’t touch when cooked.
Bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes until slightly browned.
Allow the cookies to cool for 5-10 minutes, then let cool completely on a separate wire rack.
Serve and ENJOY!
